An independent publication about getting to and from the stadiums, arenas, airports and rail connections of New York and New Jersey.
Westchester Ride answers the practical questions of a trip with a fixed time: when the gates open, which train stops at the venue and when the last one leaves, what the garage charges, how early the airline closes check-in. The work is documentary. Each guide is built from what venues, teams, airport authorities, transit agencies and county governments publish. The site does not claim to have attended every event or driven every route. What it claims can be checked: each figure carries the organization that issued it and the month it was read.
Start from the page the venue, team, airport or transit agency publishes itself. Forums, other guides and AI recollections are never a source.
Where two issuers disagree, show both and say which one is in charge. Where they leave the arithmetic to the reader, do it and show it.
Every figure carries the month it was read. When an issuer changes a rule or a reader reports a difference, the guide is checked again.
Nothing is reserved or paid for here. The site does not sell tickets, parking, rides or transfers, and does not operate any of them.
No stadium, arena, team, airport, airline or transit agency reviews these guides before they are published.
Rules and prices change, sometimes for a single event. Every figure is dated and every guide points to the page it came from.
As of October 2026 there are no ads and no affiliate links. A local business may sponsor a group of guides, always labeled, with no say over what a guide says. See advertise.
Until around 2018, westchesterride.com was the website of Westchester Ride Corp, a local car service. Alexander worked with the owner of that business on its website. The owner later stopped renewing the domain, and after it had been unregistered for several years, Alexander registered it and started this publication. This site is not that company, is not affiliated with it, and does not provide rides, car seats or transfers.
