Nine garages named on the Barclays Center parking page, and one price behind them
Barclays Center parking is nine independently run garages lettered A to I on the arena’s own map, each with a street address and none with a price. Checking all nine operator links on September 1, 2026 produced a single rate card: GGMC Parking posts $40.00 for a special event at 66 Rockwell Place.

One number out of nine addresses is what a driver can carry from home. The arena at 620 Atlantic Avenue is direct about why it has none of its own to publish. Its parking page prints nine street addresses and, in September 2026, no dollar figure beside any of them, and the note under the garage list settles ownership before price is ever reached.
| Way to reach 620 Atlantic Avenue, as an issuer names it | Published cost | Who sets the number | Published limitation | Best for |

Why an arena at 620 Atlantic Avenue has no lot of its own to price
Barclays Center states the position three times, in three wordings, across two pages. The parking page prints it as a note under the garage map: Barclays Center DOES NOT own or operate any garages, and all listed garages are independently owned and operated. The A to Z guide reduces it to one line, that parking at Barclays Center is very limited.
The third wording is the only one that gives a reason, and it sits in the sustainability entry of that same A to Z guide: no on-site public or employee parking to reduce single occupancy vehicle use. That is a decision on the record rather than an omission, read on the arena’s pages on September 1, 2026. One count does exist for people who are not driving, 100 bike parking spots on site.
The consequence runs past price. The Disabled Services A to Z Guide of Barclays Center carries no parking entry at all, so the number of accessible bays near 620 Atlantic Avenue is a question for each independent operator and not for the venue. Every large venue in the region draws that line somewhere, and the survey of how New York area stadiums and arenas split parking from transit shows where each one puts it.
What each of the nine Barclays Center garage links returned on September 1, 2026
Barclays Center publishes the list as a lettered map key, A through I, and every entry carries a company and a street number. iPark holds A and D, at 585 Dean Street and 99 3rd Avenue. Two further entries belong to GGMC Parking, at 625 Atlantic Avenue and 66 Rockwell Place.
The remaining five are Cielo Garage @ Atlantic Terrace at 201 South Portland Avenue, Brooklyn Hospital at 97 Dekalb Avenue, Manhattan Parking Group at 470 Hudson Avenue, Hub Brooklyn at 333 Schermerhorn Street and SP+ Parking at 540 Waverly Avenue. Every name on that key is a link to the operator, and following all nine on September 1, 2026 is what produced the table below.
One of those links no longer reaches a parking company. The address Barclays Center publishes for Cielo Garage @ Atlantic Terrace, cielogarage.com, redirected on September 1, 2026 to a page written in Indonesian and advertising an online slot brand, with the words garage and parking appearing zero times on it. The garage may well still be trading at 201 South Portland Avenue. The link the arena gives for it does not go there.

The one rate card behind the nine links, and the number GGMC Parking prints on it
GGMC Parking publishes a five tab rate card for 66 Rockwell Place, and the tab that governs an event night is labelled Event Special. The figure on it is $36.24 under a column headed Without Tax and $40.00 in a second column GGMC leaves unlabelled, read on September 1, 2026.
Two other tabs look cheaper and do not apply. The Early Bird Special covers Mon-Fri, 6AM-9AM, max to 7:30 PM at $18.00, and the Weekend Special covers Sat-Sun, 6AM-12AM, out by midnight at $15.00. The override sits inside both of those rows, in GGMC’s own eight words: Regular and Special rates are superseded by Event rates.
The regular column is where the event rate stops behaving like a surcharge. GGMC Parking posts $10.00 up to half an hour, $14.00 up to one hour, $18.00 up to two hours, $26.00 up to ten hours and $40.00 up to 24 hours at 66 Rockwell Place. An event night and a full day carry the same number.
Vehicle size is the one surcharge GGMC does publish. Oversized vehicles add $15.00 to every rate and vans and pickups add $20.00, applied to anything measuring 181 inches or longer or 70 inches or higher, per each 24 hour period or any part thereof. The garage runs open 24 hours, answers on (718) 797-2408, and lists electric and Tesla charging stations.
One line on that card leads nowhere. Under Additional Info, GGMC directs drivers to pre-pay for Barclay Center event parking at barclaysparking.com, and that address answered no connection at all on September 1, 2026. GGMC also states that all rates are subject to change without notice, which is the honest caveat attached to the only price in this guide.
Counting an event night at 66 Rockwell Place against the minutes Atlantic Terminal publishes
Two adults driving to a Barclays Center event and using 66 Rockwell Place pay one $40.00 event rate between them, or $20.00 each before tolls and fuel, on the figure GGMC Parking published in September 2026. A van or a pickup in the same space becomes $60.00, or $30.00 each.
Measured against an ordinary morning at the same barrier, the event premium is arithmetic on one company’s own card. The Early Bird Special is $18.00 and the Weekend Special is $15.00, so an event night costs $22.00 more than a weekday early bird and $25.00 more than a weekend rate, at the same garage, from the same operator.
The train side of the comparison carries no dollar figure at all, because Barclays Center publishes no fare and sends riders to the MTA Trip Planner. What the arena does quantify is time. Barclays Center describes Atlantic Terminal as eight minutes from Wall Street, 18 minutes from Penn Station, 20 minutes from Times Square or Grand Central Station, and 20 minutes from Jamaica Station on the LIRR.
For two adults starting anywhere on those nine subway routes or on the LIRR, the train wins, and the criterion is blunt: the arena publishes a duration for the trip and nobody publishes a comparable door to door price for the car. For four people arriving in an oversized vehicle from outside the subway network, 66 Rockwell Place wins at $60.00 split four ways, per GGMC Parking in September 2026, because no other advance number is on offer. The nuance is that the $40.00 belongs to one garage out of nine and not to Barclays Center.
Queens shows the opposite arrangement. At the ballpark that sets and prints its own parking rates the number comes from the venue and applies to every lot on the property, which is why that page opens with a price and this one opens with a link check.
Only two of the nine garages sit on a street where Barclays Center has a door
Barclays Center names seven entrances and gives each one a corner. The Main Atrium Entrance stands at Flatbush Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. The Event Level VIP Entrance, the Crown Entrance, the American Express Card Member Entrance and the Lyft Atlantic Entrance are all on Atlantic Avenue, the Dean Entrance is on Dean Street, and the Flatbush Entrance was listed as temporarily closed on September 1, 2026.
Laying the garage key over the entrance list leaves two matches. iPark at 585 Dean Street shares its street with the Dean Entrance, and GGMC Parking at 625 Atlantic Avenue shares its avenue with four of the seven doors. The other seven garages sit on South Portland Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Rockwell Place, Dekalb Avenue, Hudson Avenue, Schermerhorn Street and Waverly Avenue, and Barclays Center lists none of those as an entrance street.
The closer of the two matches carries a warning from the arena itself. Beside 625 Atlantic Avenue, Barclays Center prints that this parking lot is accessible only via Hanson Place and is no longer accessible via Atlantic Avenue. A garage sharing an avenue with four doors is entered from a different street than its own address suggests.
Naming is the second trap on the walk in. The northeast door is the Lyft Atlantic Entrance on the entrances page and plain Atlantic Entrance in the A to Z guide, while the southeast door appears as the Dean Entrance, the Dean Street Entrance and the EmblemHealth Dean Street Entrance depending on which Barclays Center page names it. Three labels, one door, and the street number that matters is 585 Dean Street beside it.
Which app Barclays Center calls its parking partner depends on which page opens first
The parking page states that SpotHero is an Official Partner of Barclays Center. The Public Transportation and Driving page instead offers garages through our partner, ParkWhiz, and the A to Z guide repeats ParkWhiz in its own parking entry. Two pages to one, and the page a driver opens first is the odd one out.
Neither app’s figure is the arena’s figure. The SpotHero panel on the parking page returns prices only once an event has been selected, and the ParkWhiz page for the venue returned no readable content on September 1, 2026. A quote from either is what a reseller asked for one date, which is a different object from a rate an operator posts on a page it controls. Midtown runs the same referral with the list removed, and the arena above Penn Station that names no garage at all is the version with nothing to check.
Two of the nine operator links carry frozen dates inside the address itself, start=2022-10-26 for Hub Brooklyn at 333 Schermerhorn Street and start=2023-04-10 for SP+ Parking at 540 Waverly Avenue. The garage map image on the same page is filed as BarclaysParkingGarageMap_04102023.png, the same April 2023 date. Those are maintenance signals rather than rates, and they are the context around a link at B that no longer reaches a garage.
Parking notes Barclays Center and GGMC Parking put in writing
Each note below comes from a page one of the two issuers published and this guide read on September 1, 2026, and each one changes where a car ends up or what the night costs.
- The arena’s own advice is to leave the car at home. To avoid potential long waits and traffic congestion, we encourage our guests to use mass transit, per Barclays Center, printed directly beneath the nine garage addresses.
- 625 Atlantic Avenue is not entered from Atlantic Avenue. The note Barclays Center prints beside that entry says the GGMC lot is accessible only via Hanson Place and is no longer accessible via Atlantic Avenue.
- An event night at 66 Rockwell Place is priced like a full day. GGMC Parking posts $40.00 both as the Special Event Rate and as the regular rate up to 24 hours, so arriving three hours early buys hours rather than savings.
- Oversize is a published surcharge, not a conversation at the booth. GGMC adds $15.00 for oversized vehicles and $20.00 for vans and pickups, on a threshold of 181 inches or longer or 70 inches or higher, per 24 hour period or any part thereof.
- No re-entry makes the car a one way trip. The venue has a no re-entry policy for all events, so walking back to a garage three streets away to drop something off ends the evening rather than pausing it.
- Charter buses close the arena side lane after the show. Per Barclays Center, Atlantic Ave between Ft Greene Pl and 6th Ave, eastbound and arena side, will be closed for pick up until approximately 30 minutes after event end.
- The accessible bay question has no venue answer. The Disabled Services A to Z Guide carries no parking entry, so a driver needing one asks the operator directly, the way the Bronx garages priced by a single named company can be asked.
Where a Barclays Center parking plan breaks between the ramp and the door
Six failure points, each measured against something Barclays Center or GGMC Parking printed in September 2026 rather than against a rule of thumb.
- Budgeting from a number the arena never published. Barclays Center prints no rate on any of the nine garage lines, so a figure carried in from an aggregator has no issuer behind it and no page to check it against.
- Booking through the link at B. The address Barclays Center gives for Cielo Garage @ Atlantic Terrace led to an online slot page rather than a garage on September 1, 2026, so any reservation there has to start from the street address, 201 South Portland Avenue.
- Reading the Early Bird Special as an event price. The operator prints $18.00 for Mon-Fri, 6AM-9AM and cancels it in the same row: Regular and Special rates are superseded by Event rates.
- Driving a van in on a car price. The $20.00 vans and pickups addition turns a $40.00 event space at 66 Rockwell Place into $60.00 before anyone parks, and the trigger is a measurement of 181 inches or 70 inches rather than a judgement call.
- Approaching 625 Atlantic Avenue from Atlantic Avenue. The entrance moved to Hanson Place by the arena’s own note, and a missed turn onto a one way Brooklyn grid 30 minutes before doors is not a quick correction.
- Planning the walk out along the arena curb. The building closes Atlantic Ave between Ft Greene Pl and 6th Ave on the arena side until approximately 30 minutes after event end for bus pick up, and publishes no other clock for leaving.
Editorial note: prices, schedules, and policies on this page were checked against the official sources named in the text in September 2026. Venues, airports, and transit agencies change them without notice; confirm with the operator before you travel. Westchester Ride does not sell tickets or parking and does not accept payment to rank any operator.
Driver questions about parking at Barclays Center
Six answers built from what Barclays Center and GGMC Parking published in September 2026, covering the missing rate, the nine addresses and the single card that carries a number.
No parking rate appears anywhere on barclayscenter.com. The arena lists nine independent garages by name and address and prices none of them. Of those nine operator links, only GGMC Parking served a rate card on September 1, 2026, showing a $40.00 special event rate at 66 Rockwell Place.
No. The arena states it on the parking page itself: Barclays Center DOES NOT own or operate any garages, and all listed garages are independently owned and operated. The sustainability entry of its A to Z guide gives the reason, no on-site public or employee parking to reduce single occupancy vehicle use.
Barclays Center letters nine garages A to I: iPark at 585 Dean Street and 99 3rd Avenue, Cielo Garage @ Atlantic Terrace, GGMC Parking at 625 Atlantic Avenue and 66 Rockwell Place, Brooklyn Hospital, Manhattan Parking Group, Hub Brooklyn and SP+ Parking at 540 Waverly Avenue.
Both are named, on different pages. The parking page calls SpotHero an Official Partner of Barclays Center. The Public Transportation and Driving page and the A to Z guide both name ParkWhiz as our partner. Neither app’s quote is a rate Barclays Center publishes, checked September 2026.
One garage of the nine publishes hours. GGMC Parking lists 66 Rockwell Place as open 24 hours and posts $40.00 for up to 24 hours, the same figure as its special event rate, read September 1, 2026. The other eight links served no readable hours that day.
That sum has no second half. No subway or LIRR fare appears on the Barclays Center site, which refers riders to the MTA Trip Planner. What the arena does publish is nine subway routes and the LIRR into Atlantic Terminal, 18 minutes from Penn Station and 20 minutes from Jamaica Station.
A named list without prices moves the question rather than answering it. Nine addresses tell a driver where to aim, and one operator’s card tells them what aiming there costs. Until the other eight publish, the price of parking in Brooklyn on an event night is whatever the sign at the top of the ramp says at 7:00 pm.
