Newark Long-Term Parking: Nine Numbers and No Prices

Newark Liberty answers the question of where to leave a car for two weeks with a table of nine companies, a phone number beside each one and no prices at all. Four of the nine are airport hotels. The airport calls them authorized off-airport parking options and tells travelers to use nothing else, then leaves the comparison to whoever is willing to make nine calls.

Newark Liberty long-stay parking options | WestchesterRide

On its own lots the arithmetic is public but stops at a day. Newark Liberty publishes a 24-hour maximum of $35 at the P6 Economy lot and $70 in short-term parking at Terminals B and C, and nothing at all beyond a single day. A week is therefore a multiplication the traveler performs, not a price the airport quotes.

Nine companies, nine phone numbers, zero rates

The published list mixes two businesses that are not usually shelved together. Five are parking operators: Newark Airport Long Term Parking, The Parking Spot Haynes, SNAP Secure Newark Airport Parking, Victoria Parking and Vista Parking. Four are hotels: Crowne Plaza Newark Airport, Hilton Newark Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott and Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel.

Each entry gets a company name and a telephone number, and the row stops there: no address, no distance from the terminal, no shuttle frequency and no rate. The instruction beside the table is firm: “Customers should only park on-airport or with an authorized off-airport parking provider.” A traveler is told exactly who is allowed to take the car and nothing about what any of them charges. Nine rows, 9 phone numbers and 0 rates, checked in September 2026.

That absence is the whole shape of the decision. The park-and-fly hotel option and the bare parking lot option sit in the same list with the same amount of published information, which is none, even though one of them normally includes a room for the first night.

A week on the airport, multiplied out

Newark Liberty publishes a 24-hour maximum for each of its lots: $35 at P6 Economy, $60 in the P4 garage, $65 in short-term at Terminal A and $70 in short-term at Terminals B and C. The prebook column, which requires booking at least 3 hours in advance, lowers those to as low as $30, $40 and $50, per Newark Liberty.

Multiply those ceilings and the airport’s own numbers give the week: $245 at P6, $420 in the P4 garage and $490 in short-term at Terminals B and C, or $210, $280 and $350 on the prebook column. Nothing in that arithmetic is a rate anyone quotes; it is a ceiling repeated seven times.

Lot3 days7 days14 days
P6 Economy, drive-up$105$245$490
P6 Economy, prebooked$90$210$420
P4 garage, drive-up$180$420$840
P4 garage, prebooked$120$280$560
Short-term B and C, drive-up$210$490$980
Short-term B and C, prebooked$150$350$700

Read down the fortnight column and the choice stops being about convenience. On the ceilings the airport publishes, two weeks in front of the terminal costs $980 at the drive-up rate and $490 at the far lot, so the gap between the nearest space and the farthest one is itself a fortnight of economy parking. Booking ahead narrows it to $700 against $420, per the same two columns, which is still $280.

These are ceilings multiplied, not quoted weekly prices, and the prebook figures are floors rather than fixed rates: the airport writes them as “as low as”. Anyone planning a fortnight should treat the table as the shape of the decision and confirm the number at the moment of booking.

What the cheap lot actually asks of you

P6 is where a long stay is decided, and the airport publishes its bus in more detail than most: free, “runs 24 hours, 7 days a week”, “arrives approximately every 10 minutes”, with real-time tracking offered for the return leg. For a two-week traveler that bus is the difference between $420 and $700.

The published detail worth reading twice is where it collects you. The pickup points are Terminal A Level 1 “across two roadways”, Terminal B Level 1 “across two roadways” and Terminal C Level 1 “across one roadway”. Coming home with luggage after 14 days, that is 2 roadway crossings at two of the three terminals, and the airport says so plainly rather than leaving it to be discovered. Fourteen days of that bus costs nothing, while the same fortnight inside the P4 garage runs to $840 at the drive-up ceiling.

What is not published anywhere is how long the ride takes. A frequency of 10 minutes and a duration are different numbers, and only the first exists, which is the same gap that shows up in the daily rates for every Newark lot.

Past 30 days the rule is a registration, not a price

There is no monthly rate. What exists beyond 30 days is a procedure: drivers must register the vehicle with ABM Parking by calling +1 (973) 961-6421 or +1 (973) 961-6422 on arrival, and Newark Liberty states that “unregistered vehicles parked for more than 30 days will be towed”. The rate keeps running at the daily maximum either way.

Multiply that out and the reason the airport prefers a phone call becomes obvious. Thirty days at the P6 ceiling Newark Liberty publishes, $35, is $1,050, and the same month in the P4 garage at $60 is $1,800. At that length the off-airport list stops being a convenience question and becomes the only economically sensible call to make.

One of the nine publishes a number

Checked in September 2026, the only rate on any of those nine businesses’ own pages that a reader can see without calling is Vista Parking’s, which advertises “our discounted rate of $19.00/day with promo code” on its front page. The others give a phone line, a booking form or a page that returns nothing to a plain reader, which leaves 8 of the 9 unpriced until someone dials.

Set the $19.00 Vista lists against the $35 at P6 and the fortnight gap is $224 before tax, or $266 against $490 across the two weeks, which is why the airport’s silence on off-site pricing is worth an hour of phone calls on a long trip and worth nothing at all on a two-day one. Seven days at that rate is $133 against $245 at P6 and $490 in short-term at Terminals B and C. The economics only appear at length.

The hotels on the list carry a second variable the parking lots do not. A park-and-fly package normally bundles a night before an early departure, so the comparison is not lot against lot but lot against a room, and the drive down from Westchester is what decides whether that night is useful or an expensive lie-in.

  • A week at P6 is $245 drive-up and as low as $210 prebooked, calculated from the airport’s daily ceilings.
  • A fortnight at the terminal curb is $980. The same fortnight at P6 is $490.
  • Book at least 3 hours ahead, which is the only condition attached to the lower column.
  • Short-term is $65 a day at Terminal A and $70 at Terminals B and C, so a fortnight at the curb is $910 or $980.
  • The P6 bus is free and runs every 10 minutes around the clock, but you cross two roadways at Terminals A and B.
  • Over 30 days, register with ABM Parking on arrival or the car is towed. There is no monthly rate.
  • Nine authorized off-airport providers are published with phone numbers only. Vista Parking lists $19.00 a day with a promo code on its own site.

Editorial note: prices, schedules, and policies on this page were checked against the official sources named in the text in September 2026. Treat every figure here as a reference point rather than a quote: operators change fares and hours without notice, and many vary by season, by event and by demand. Confirm the current price with the operator before you travel. Westchester Ride does not sell tickets or parking and does not accept payment to rank any operator.

Common questions about leaving a car at Newark for a week or more

Six answers, each built from what Newark Liberty and the operators published in September 2026.

How much is a week of parking at Newark Airport?

On the airport’s own lots, $245 at P6 Economy and $420 in the P4 garage at drive-up rates, or as low as $210 and $280 prebooked. Those are the published daily ceilings multiplied by seven; no weekly rate is published.

Does Newark Airport have a long-stay or weekly rate?

No. Every rate table ends at a 24-hour maximum, and the only rule specific to long stays is that vehicles left more than 30 days must be registered with ABM Parking on arrival or they will be towed.

Which off-airport lots does Newark Airport authorize?

Nine, published with phone numbers and nothing else: five parking companies and four airport hotels. The airport tells travelers to park on-airport or with an authorized provider, but publishes no rate, address or shuttle detail for any of them.

Is off-site parking cheaper than P6 at Newark?

It can be. Vista Parking, one of the nine, advertises $19.00 a day with a promo code on its own site against $35 at P6, a difference of $224 across a fortnight. The other eight publish no rate a reader can check.

How does the P6 shuttle work at Newark?

It is free and the airport publishes it as running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, arriving roughly every 10 minutes. Pickup is Level 1 at each terminal, across two roadways at Terminals A and B and one at Terminal C.

Can you leave a car at Newark Airport for a month?

Yes, with a phone call on arrival. Registration with ABM Parking at +1 (973) 961-6421 is required past 30 days, and the meter keeps running: thirty days at the P6 ceiling of $35 a day comes to $1,050.

The airport will tell you who may take your car for a fortnight. What it costs is a phone call away.
